Rittenhouse is the senior vice president and general manager of Cisco Secure. He is responsible for the company's global security business, including strategy, portfolio and architecture. He joined Cisco in 2013 to shape its cloud and virtualization strategy, accelerating development of the company's software stack, NFV and SaaS consumption model. Previously president of Bell Labs, he is a respected IT industry leader with more than 20 years of experience and a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
