“It is important to identify specific cybersecurity capabilities within different industry verticals and make these capabilities available to the ecosystem,” Brennan says.
For example, the monitoring capabilities of the highly regulated financial and telecom industries can be leveraged by the government to help with authenticating benefits recipients, she adds.
