11 Top Priorities for Information Security Leaders in 2011
Here at ISMG, we've been around for about one-quarter of RSA's annual events, and we easily could declare 2011's theme as "Giant Challenges to Tackle." From the evolving world of secure payments to the perennial peril of fraud - and with stops at cloud computing, data loss prevention, social media and other key topics - it's going to be a challenging year for information security leaders. We intend to arm them with the news, views and training they need to step up and meet these challenges.
In this special RSA Conference edition, we present our take on 11 top priorities for information security leaders in 2011. Among the topics we discuss in this handbook:
- Fraud - with an expert analysis of the results of ISMG's new "Faces of Fraud" survey;
- Data Loss Prevention - exploring how organizations can prevent their own WikiLeaks-style breach of private data;
- Cloud Computing - in which a NASA CTO details why the cloud might be one of the safest options.
You'll also find a diverse mix of news articles, blogs and exclusive interviews with renowned thought-leaders such as Dixie Baker, Guy Kawasaki and Prof. Eugene Spafford.
Meanwhile, don't miss Executive Editor Eric Chabrow's RSA Conference presentation on "Government Information Security: The State of the Union" on Thurs., Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. in Orange Room 309.
