DHS Virtual Job Fair Seeks Infosec Pros
Job Offers Coming in January
Under the headline Join Our Cybersecurity Team, the virtual job fair site lists five key expertise DHS seeks:
"We're looking for the best and the brightest to come join our team," says Deputy Undersecretary Philip Reitinger, the DHS's highest ranking cybersecurity official, says in a video posted on the virtual job fair site. "Our goal is to build a world-class cyber organization and we would like you to come and be part of that. Here you will have an opportunity to make a real difference in protecting the security of our nation."
Salaries range from $73,000 to $153,000 and the jobs are at the GS 12-15 levels. Candidates must be American citizens and able to obtain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance.
Eligible candidates will be invited to interview at a private hiring event on Jan. 22 and 23. "Be ready to get a job offer on the spot and start your security clearance process that day," the website says.
