Deborah Frincke

Deputy Director of Research, National Security Agency

Frincke, who joined the NSA in 2011, previously served as chief scientist for cybersecurity at the Department of Energy's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. As a professor at the University of Idaho, she cofounded its Center for Secure and Dependable Systems, one of the first such institutions to receive NSA's designation of a national Center of Excellence in Information Assurance Education. The University of California at Davis awarded Frincke a Ph.D. in 1992.
