Poindexter is an experienced Intrusion Analyst at Novetta, with significant background across a variety of customers providing consulting and analysis expertise in proactive threat identification, forensic investigations, malware analysis, and intelligence research. In her current role with Novetta, Poindexter conducts advanced technical analysis of anomalous and malicious activity to extract meaningful intelligence and develop mitigating strategies. She performs in-depth research on software vulnerabilities, malware command-and-control channels, exfiltration techniques, exploitation trends, and security product evasion and anti-analysis techniques. Previously, Poindexter supported Booz Allen Hamilton monitoring, analysis, and forensics efforts. Poindexter holds a Masters of Forensic Science, High-Technology Crime Investigation from George Washington University. She is also maintains several security certifications to include the CEH and GCIH.
