Routh, who retired from the CISO role, was a high-profile cybersecurity leader. "Definitely big shoes to fill, but I had the pleasure of working for him for about 18 months,” Weintraub says. “That really gave me an opportunity to learn from him and to … continue his legacy.”
In this video interview with ISMG, Weintraub discusses:
- How MassMutual is evolving to function in a post-pandemic environment;
- Emerging technologies that will enhance security in the company’s ongoing digital transformation;
- Mentorship, diversity and her mission to recruit new talent to the field.
Weintraub, the new head of enterprise cybersecurity at MassMutual, joined the insurance company in the fall of 2019 as the head of security operations and engineering, responsible for the global security operations center, security engineering, security intelligence and identity and access management. Earlier, she served as senior director of data and access security within cybersecurity operations at TIAA and global head of vulnerability management at BNY Mellon. She also served in the threat and vulnerability management practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
