(MSFT) to be among the first to offer comprehensive protection for web applications and associated confidential data hosted in the Windows Azure cloud. With the award-winning Barracuda Web Application Firewall, Windows Azure developers will be able to protect new and existing applications in the cloud against modern application layer risks, including SQL injection, cross-site scripting, and session tampering.
Fortinet - a world leader in high-performance network security - announced that the company's FortiGuard Labs has launched new cloud-based sandboxing and IP reputation services that are designed to help protect against advanced persistent threats. The new FortiGuard Labs services provide additional protection capabilities for the company's FortiGate, FortiCloud, FortiWeb, FortiDDoS and FortiDNS network and application security platforms.
